Ganz genauso verhlt es sich auch mit diesem Buch: Auch wenn man glaubte schon alles ber Pink Floyd zu wissen beweist doch Mark Blake mit seinem breit angelegten extrem gut recherchierten Werk das Gegenteil. Blake zeichnet nicht nur das Portrt einer Band sondern das einer Generation. Die Stationen sind bekannt aber der unverstellte frische Blick mit dem Blake sich dem Thema widmet erffnet neue Sichtweisen - auf den rtselhaften Syd Barrett und seinen Abstieg in den Wahnsinn auf die Machtkmpfe innerhalb der Band und die so unterschiedlichen schlielich nicht mehr miteinander zu vereinbarenden Persnlichkeiten.
